The SMOK Nord Pro Device offers features like blank and blank. Find answers to the most commonly asked questions about this vape device!
UWell has made more than a few fantastic vape devices over the last few years, and they’re determined to continue that trend with the latest model in the popular Caliburn series: the Caliburn G2. Brand new for 2022, this innovative device comes with key improvements over its predecessor, designed to give users even more control over their vaping experience.
What can you expect from the Caliburn G2 if you’re used to the previous model? And will it be for you if you’ve never owned a Caliburn before? Read on to find out. We’ll cover the key differences between these two devices and answer some common questions so that you can make an informed choice about the products you use.
One of the most notable new features on the Caliburn G2 is the updated cartridge—which now holds 2mL of e-liquid (instead of 1.6mL for the Caliburn G cartridge). It’s also been designed to include a progressive airflow adjustment feature, giving you better command over your draw and resulting cloud size.
Another nice upgrade is the addition of an e-liquid window on both sides of the device, which makes checking to see how much e-liquid is left easier than ever. The Caliburn G2 also comes with a bigger battery—750 mAh vs. 690 mAh for the Caliburn G.
Finally, the G2 has a brand-new haptic feedback feature that causes the device to vibrate during key stages of its operation. The vibration helps users know when they have successfully performed tasks like inserting new pods or connecting the device to a charger. It also warns users about short-circuits, alerts them when they have taken particularly long draws, and more. To see the full list of things that can activate the G2’s haptic feedback, see “Why does my Caliburn G2 vibrate?” in the FAQ at the bottom of this post.
UWell seems to believe in the old adage, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. They’ve left the best parts of the Caliburn G alone—it’s still a slim, low-profile device that offers both button and draw activation and up to 18W of output.
The Caliburn G2 is just ever-so-slightly larger, but we’re talking about a difference of just a couple millimetres here. You’ll get used to it in no time.
The Caliburn G2 cartridge comes with a wheel that allows you to adjust the airflow simply and smoothly. The Caliburn G also allows you to adjust the airflow, but doing so requires you to rotate the cartridge itself.
The Caliburn G2 is not compatible with replacement coils for the Caliburn G. You’ll have to use replacement coils made specifically for the Caliburn G2.
Fully charging the Caliburn G2 with the supplied charger takes approximately 25 minutes.
The Caliburn G2 provides haptic feedback via a vibrating mechanism that activates whenever:
Some users have reported their Caliburn G2 device vibrating unexpectedly when using non-standard chargers. To avoid this possibility and prevent potential battery damage, always use the charger supplied along with your Caliburn G2.
The coils for the Caliburn G2 should last through 20-25 mL of e-liquid (a little less if you use particularly sweet liquid in your pods). The 0.8Ω coil supplied with the device typically lasts a bit longer than its 1.2Ω counterpart.
The Caliburn G2 is available in the following colours:
The Caliburn G2 takes everything users already love about the Caliburn G—portability, reliability, and ease of use—and adds impressive new features while actually cutting down the price by a few dollars. If you’re looking for an exciting upgrade to your Caliburn G that will still feel comfortable and familiar, this is it—and it’s likely to be a hit with new members of the Caliburn family as well.
