You might be tempted to try and reuse your STLTH pods by refilling them, but we don’t recommend it. STLTH pods are not designed to be refilled or reused. Tampering with your pods can compromise the quality of the product and your experience using it.

Q: How Does the STLTH 5K Compare to the STLTH 3K?

STLTH pens have a battery capacity of 420 mAh. Assuming a normal standard for efficiency loss (approximately 20%), it should take just over 1 hour to charge the battery completely with a 0.5A charger. The company advises users not to charge their STLTH pens with rapid chargers, as this may damage the circuits inside the pen and can even pose a safety hazard.

You might see YouTube videos that promise to show you how to “hack” STLTH pods by opening them with scissors or other household tools—but don’t try it. STLTH pods aren’t designed to be opened by users for health and safety reasons.

If you notice your STLTH pod leaking, don’t panic! Instead, just disconnect the pod from the battery and wipe away any remaining liquid with a cloth or cotton swab. Then put a piece of tissue paper on top of the mouthpiece and blow through the bottom of the cartridge so the tissue catches any remaining condensation. After that, it should be all right to reconnect the pod and continue using it.

4. Do I Need to Charge the STLTH 5K Before Use?

No—the 5K is good to go right out of the packaging! You should only need to charge the battery once the indicator light near the bottom of the device turns red. You’ll also probably only need to do this once before you finish the 10ml of e-liquid inside the device.

5. How Long Does the 5K Last?

All STLTH 5K devices are designed to last for 5000 puffs. This seems to be true regardless of the flavour you choose—although you will need to recharge the 600mAh battery at least once to get through all 5000. Read our review of the STLTH 5K here for more information.

6. What Is the Nicotine Strength of STLTH 5K Devices?

All STLTH 5K devices have a nic strength of 20 mg/ml. This level of nicotine is intended to be appropriate for former smokers who are used to smoking about one pack of cigarettes per day and are transitioning to vaping.

7. How Can I Properly Dispose of My STLTH 5K?

Once you've finished up the e-liquid in your STLTH 5K, you can conveniently dispose of it by either taking it to a nearby recycling centre or sending it back to STLTH.

To return your used devices to STLTH, email support@stlthvape.com. with your complete name, contact number, and postal address. They’ll provide you with a prepaid return envelope in which to insert the devices and send them back.

STLTH requests that you accumulate at least 10 empty devices before returning them for more efficient shipping. Be aware that 5K devices cannot be placed in the designated disposal bins found in some physical vape stores.

8. I’m Experiencing Too Powerful a Throat Hit from My 5K—What Can I Do?

The 5K is intended to deliver a potent taste and strong throat hit, so there's no need to inhale too forcefully. If the throat hit from your device is uncomfortably strong, ease the intensity and take shorter puffs.

9. How Do I Read the STLTH 5K’s Indicator Lights?

The STLTH 5K has two indicator lights—one lets you know when the battery level is getting low, while the other lets you know when you’re close to running out of e-liquid.

Battery Indicator Light

The battery indicator light stays green while you’re charging the device and turns off when it’s not in use. When you draw from the device, this light glows in the following colours to represent different charge levels:

Green: Full to 60%
Yellow: 59% to 30%
Red: Under 30%

If the battery in your device is completely dead, the light will flash red. We recommend charging your device when you see the light go red for the first time so as to make the best use of your battery.

10. Can I Keep Using the 5K By Filling it With My Own E-Liquid?

The STLTH 5K is only designed to last until you’ve finished the 10ml of e-liquid it contains. Opening the device to add other e-liquids and attempting to vape with them can cause safety hazards, performance issues, leaks, and other problems with your device, so please do not attempt this.
