9. Why Isn’t My UWell Caliburn A2 Hitting Correctly?
The UWell Caliburn A2 may not hit properly if:
- Your device is locked. Try pressing the fire button 5 times in quick succession.
- Your device is not charged. Your device cannot produce vapour with a dead battery.
- Your device is dirty. Use a cotton swab to clean the contacts at the top of your device, and use the same technique to remove any dust or old e-liquid from the bottom of the pod.
10. Why Is My UWell Caliburn A2 Leaking?
The UWell Caliburn A2 is designed to minimize leakage. However, the following can cause the device to leak:
- Vaping too hard. Drawing too forcefully on the UWell Caliburn A2 can cause too much e-liquid to enter the atomizer coil. This e-liquid may end up in the device’s air tube and can even enter your mouth, so make sure to puff on your device gently.
- Your device is dirty. Use a cotton swab to clean the contacts at the top of your device, and use the same technique to remove any dust or old e-liquid from the bottom of the pod.
11. Why Does My UWell Caliburn A2 Taste Bad?
You may notice an unpleasant taste while using the Caliburn A2 if you start vaping too soon after filling it. Once you’ve filled your device for the first time, it needs time for the e-liquid to fully saturate the cotton wick—this is called priming the coil. Trying to use the device before priming the coil properly can burn the cotton, ruining the way your hit tastes. Wait at least five minutes after the first time you fill up any new pod.
12. Why Are My UWell Caliburn A2 Pods Burning Out Too Fast?
Your UWell Caliburn A2 pods can burn out too quickly if:
- Your e-liquid is too sweet. Sweeter e-liquids leave behind residue called coil gunk that can affect the lifespan of your pod and ruin the taste of your hits. We recommend switching to a milder e-liquid when using this device.
- You do not prime the coil. In addition to creating a burnt taste during each hit, failing to prime the coil in your device can affect the lifespan of your pod.
- Chain-vaping. This prevents the wick from becoming properly saturated between puffs, reducing the pod’s lifespan.
