Summary:
The ElfBar MixArt 40K is Canada's first flavour-adjustable disposable vape designed for vapers who want variety, portability, and control. It features two distinct 10mL e-liquid tanks, an interactive full-colour screen, and two power modes, but currently only comes in five dual-flavour pairings.
ElfBar’s MixArt 40K
ElfBar is bringing something new to the Canadian market with the MixArt 40K: the ability to switch between or blend two different flavours in the same device. It comes with two pre-filled 10mL tanks (one for each flavour), and you can adjust how much of each side is in each puff anytime.
This is a relatively new concept for Canadian vapers. Nearly all other devices on the market either lock you into a single flavour or force you to spend a small fortune on pods. The MixArt 40K manages to resolve these pain points by creating a unique experience that most vapers haven't seen before.
But does this dual-flavour system actually work as smoothly as it sounds? We tested it to find out.

First Impressions
Cracking open the box ElfBar's MixArt 40K came in was satisfying and fun! The glossy shell and full-colour screen are impossible to miss and grabbed our attention right away. It's so nice to see a manufacturer go the extra mile by making the screen interactive, even if what you can do is pretty limited.
Size-wise, the MixArt 40K is similar to other high puff count disposables in the same range, but it's still small enough to fit in your palm or store in your pocket. We admittedly spent more time playing with the interactive screen and switching up the flavour profile than actually storing it anywhere.
In the Box:

- User instructions on packaging
Charging and Setup
Like other disposables, the MixArt 40K has a Type-C USB charging port on the bottom. It's incredibly easy to set up; just pull out the mouthpiece plug, remove the safety seal on the bottom, and you're good. The battery charged to full capacity for us in a little under an hour.
Using the Device
Draw Quality & Taste
The MixArt 40K technically has 10 different flavour options right now. There's no option to create your own custom pairing (at least not yet). Most of them lean heavily into fruit with a hint of ice, which is pretty standard for ElfBar vapes.
Testing the Mixed Mint and Watermelon Mango Peach allowed us to experience both the icy range and the fruity range of this lineup without chain-vaping all five pairings. The dual mesh coil fired consistently on every draw and delivered clean, punchy hits with a decent amount of throat feel.

Performance and Modes
The MixArt 40K gives you two wattage settings to choose from: Normal (18W) and Burst (26W). As you'd expect, Normal mode is smooth, mellow, and a little bit laid-back, which is perfect for all-day vaping or vapers who prefer a slightly more subdued flavour. There is a slight drop in cloud density.
Burst mode cranks up the wattage to 26W, giving you bigger clouds, more intense flavour, and a stronger throat hit you can feel all the way down into your chest.
Screen and Controls
ElfBar's MixArt 40K is fully draw-activated and only has one physical button on the bottom that lets you adjust the mode. Everything else happens right on the interactive full-colour display, which shows you the e-liquid levels, the flavour blend, the wattage, and your total puff count, which we found pretty nifty.
All we had to do to customize the flavour was push the slider on the screen. There was no re-initialization or warm-up time. We were able to take big, deep draws that had a noticeable shift in flavour straight away.
The screen was bright enough to read in direct sunlight on a nice day, but dimmed automatically and/or shuts off when you aren't actively interacting with it.
Pro Tips for Vapers
- Storage: Always keep your vape in a cool, dry, dark place between uses.
- Flavour: Switch it up frequently to avoid draining one tank faster than the other.
- Coils: Let your vape rest during long RDL/DTL sessions to avoid overheating it or burning it out.
- Longevity: Let the device rest between long sessions to prevent overheating.
- Maintenance: Pop the mouthpiece plug back in to keep out debris when you aren't using it.
Frequently Asked Questions About the ElfBar MixArt 40K
Can I use both flavours at the same time?
Yes. The MixArt 40K lets you blend both flavours together for a custom taste. You can adjust the ratio using the slider on the screen, or stick to one flavour at a time if you prefer.
How long does the battery last?
The 800 mAh battery is rechargeable and lasts for thousands of puffs between charges. Actual battery life depends on which power mode you're using; Normal Mode will stretch it further than Burst Mode.
Do both tanks drain at the same rate?
Not necessarily. If you favour one flavour over the other, that tank will drain faster. The interactive screen shows you the e-liquid level for each tank individually, so you'll always know where you stand.
Can I refill the tanks?
Unfortunately, no. The MixArt 40K is a disposable device, so once the e-liquid is gone, you'll need to replace the entire unit. You can charge it if the battery runs out before the puff count is up.

Should You Buy It?
Vapers who like to play with flavour profiles or who get bored with the same flavour every day will enjoy the MixArt 40K and get more value from it. The five flavour pairings cover some of ElfBar's most popular flavours, so if you're a fan, you might even find your two top favourites in the same vape.
If you're a "stick with one flavour all day" person, the main risk is that you might find yourself with one tank half-full and the other completely empty at some point. There's nothing inherently wrong with using the MixArt 40K in this way, but it does sort of defeat the purpose a bit.
Buy It If:
- You want to flavour variety but find it annoying to carry multiple vapes or pods.
- You like being able to customize puff strength based on your mood or situation.
- You love premium technical features like the interactive screen and dual-tank system.
- You actually vibe with both flavours in one or more of the MixArt 40K pairings.
Main Use Cases
- All-day use
- Social gatherings
- Travel or long workdays
- Flavour experimentation
Price and Value
You can expect to pay around $35 for ElfBar's MixArt 40K, which is a decently competitive price for a specialty disposable that also has a high puff count. It's nice to be able to pick up two different flavours without having to pay double for two different devices, and the swanky features justify the price point.
One thing to keep in mind is that you aren't getting two for the price of one. You're still getting the same 20mL volume you'll find on most other disposables; it's just separated into two 10mL tanks.
