You’ll notice a brand-new cartridge listed for the Caliburn G3, the 0.6ohm—it’s a first among the Caliburn G series. It’s made for all users from RDL to MTL and incorporates ultrasonic welding (to avoid leaks) and a U-shaped channel at the base (to properly store liquid), resulting in a 150% improvement in air-tightness control compared to others on the market. With this new improvement, we’re off to a good start with the G3!
First Impressions of the UWell Caliburn G3 Device
If you put the Caliburn G3 next to the older G2 model, you’ll notice some slight differences, but not many. It’s similar in size, shape and offers the same sleek design, but the real difference is the new OLED display screen at the bottom of the G3—the first pod system among the Caliburn G series featuring an OLED.
The display screen helps customize the vaping journey for users via the large trigger button. The screen displays: power adjustment, battery indicator, resistance (depending on the cartridge inserted), auto-record puff and 3 trigger lock modes: trigger button only, auto draw only and auto mode (both on). It also displays important warnings as well like low battery, vape draws over 8 seconds and atomizer short or no atomizer.
Charging the UWell Caliburn G3 for the First Time
The Caliburn G3 utilizes quick and easy USB-C charging like many other UWell vape devices. That means you can vape and charge on the go. The 900 mAh battery is a 20% percent increase from the 750 mAh battery capacity of the Caliburn G2—just one of many upgrades from its predecessor. Another increase is with the wattage output of 25W max compared to the G2’s 20W max.
Preparing the Pod in the UWell Caliburn G3
If you’re used to UWell vape devices then the top fill system on the refillable pod will be very familiar to you. The G3 model has a slightly larger 2.5ml e-liquid capacity than the G2 (2ml) but the viewing window at the top of the pod is pretty much the same as the G2.
If you need to replace your pod, you can order more here. You’ll receive a 4-pack of pods with a 2ml e-liquid capacity available in 0.4ohm, 0.6ohm, 0.9ohm or 1.2ohm resistances.

Airflow Controls
Similar to the G2, the Caliburn G3 uses the unique dial airflow system so you can adjust your airflow as needed. With the bigger size coils, you’ll get more fluent airflow and better performance in humidity and density.
Device Battery Life & Performance
The G3 has a pretty standard battery capacity at 900 mAh, but it’s still an upgrade from the G2 as we mentioned earlier. You should be able to enjoy a full day of vaping without needing to recharge or refill the pod.
